Discover the inspiring journey and unwavering commitment of Theresa Martin, the driving force behind our mission to end domestic violence and foster healthy communities.

A personal journey of strength and purpose
My name is Theresa Martin, a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. My life's education came from the college of hard knocks, providing me with real-world experience and a commitment to authenticity. As an introvert and an Aquarius, I believe in speaking my truth. I come from an era where Black women exemplified strength and resilience, and it's time for us to reclaim that legacy. With dignity and grace, we will stand tall and unwavering for what is right.

Our fierce dedication to ending domestic violence
I started this movement because far too many women continue to be victims of violence by their partners and family members. Domestic violence has reached epidemic levels. The idea of the strong black woman is now a myth, and we must make it a reality again. I am heartbroken by the murders of women by men they loved and trusted, men with whom they shared children. Tragically, these acts often extend to the children themselves. The devastation of eight children in Shreveport, Louisiana, on April 19, 2026, and the bombing of a girls' school in Iran deeply affected me. Our tax dollars are inadvertently harming children and potential mothers. This country itself, in many ways, has become a domestically violent relationship with its citizens. I recognize that achieving change requires policy reform, strong leadership, and empowering children as warriors for a better future. We must educate not only...

Building a future where healthy relationships flourish
The Enough is Enough Movement aims to educate families about the profound devastation domestic violence inflicts on communities and future generations. We strive to build more local businesses, fostering economic independence and growth. Crucially, we work to promote self-esteem and self-awareness among individuals, empowering them to make better choices. We also encourage civic duties and good citizenship, creating a society where healthy relationships are the norm and violence has no place.
